तू चली गयी मैं सोचता हूँ अब भी तू आएगी,
तू रूठ गयी मैं सोचता हूँ अब भी तू मान जाएगी।
मेरे दिल में बसने वाली ऐ परी ,
ये दिल कहता है एक दिन तू ज़रूर आएगी।

मेरे ग़म से ख़ुशी चुनकर,
मेरे आंसू से मोती चुनकर,
मेरे दर्द से राहत चुनकर,
दूर कहीं से उडती हुई मेरे दिल में समा जाएगी,
ये दिल कहता है एक दिन तू ज़रूर आएगी।

Tu chali gayi main sochta hoon ab bhi tu aayegi,
Tu rooth gayi main sochta hoon ab bhi tu maan jayegi.
Mere dil me basne wali aye pari,
ye dil kehta hai ek din tu zaroor aayegi.
Mere gham se khushi chunkar,
mere aansoo se moti chunkar,
mere dard se rahat chunkar
Door kahin se udti huyi mere dil me sama jayegi

Not divine but a dream,

Which never comes true.

It snatches up our heart & mind

And gives an everlasting pain,

Throughout the life span.

One who gets this,

It takes him to wrong & wrong;

Up to there from where

He can never come.

It snatches up

Whatever one has;

And leaves him to
